Meet the Therapists

Krissy Shippey, LMFT #104850

I began working with youth and families in 2006 at a local non-profit after obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Child Development, with a minor in Psychology at Cal Poly. Through my service and involvement with clients that experienced grief and trauma, I decided to pursue my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University in order to serve in a deeper and more meaningful way. I have been providing therapy since 2012, and am trained in a variety of modalities, but most often integrate a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, strengths based approach as I believe that in knowing and utilizing your strengths we can achieve the highest outcomes. You can expect that I will work collaboratively with you to rebuild a foundation of trust and self-love that will support your growth outside of the walls of a therapy office.
